Re: Favorite Arrested Development Moments
* Gob with Kitty ('...let me finish... salad.') Not only the hilarity of that line but how totally disconnected he is in that whole scene with everything she is saying.
* Buster caught with the vacuum ('I'm half machine!') * Michael trying to get Uncle Oscar to have sec with his mother. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FOjwVI18Ik BTW, can we take a minute to recognize how masterful Jeffrey Tambor was in playing the twins. * George Michael's "mayonegg" speech http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2S3DygWivE * I also love the running gags moments ("her?", "pop-pop", ice cream sandwiches, the cornballer, "that was a freebie", "say goodbye to THESE!", "NO TOUCHING!" ...). * When Lucille spills liquor (her whole scene there is amazing) and culminates in Tobias taking that great fall in it. * Gob and Michael, the dove crawling across the counter while they hug. * Young Buster throws what he thinks is the maid's favorite toy and what he thinks is her car (the dustbuster at the bus). and on, and on, and on. Man I miss that show. |

Re: Favorite Arrested Development Moments
Every time I've seen Michael Cera in a non-AD environment - that's basically the commentary and on late night shows - he sounds and even acts almost exactly like George Michael. I can't decide if its the chicken or the egg, but everything I've seen of him both in-character and out has made it seem like they're the same person. Am I alone in that?

I'm eager to see Superbad. |

Re: Favorite Arrested Development Moments
Man so many good ones:
-Gob's sexual harassment speech ("...even though SO many people in this office are BEGGING for it!") -Tobias' "Oh, that's right, your wife is DEAD!" -Gob talking about George Michael and Ann to Michael: "...plus, she's religious. That kind gets pregnant, it stays pregnant. Believe me, I dated a chick like that once in high school." (beat.) "No I didn't." but my favorite moment has to be when Mrs. Featherbottom attempts to parasol from the second floor of the house to the first and crashes into the table. |
