Brad booth grinding 10/20 right now.......

Right after one of his big scores, I played 15-30 w Brad at Bellagio. He sat down with a a bundle of 100's and asked, "what limit is this???". So he tosses in hundred after hundred, raising when he can, (all in the dark, which he made a point to point this out every time) and loses hand after hand.

Of course I am completely card dead and when I pick up a hand I pay $75 to see a flop haeds up with AQo and flop is A-Q-5 rainbow. He bets I raise he reraises (still in the dark, I raise him and he say's "well I better take a look now."

He looks and reraises me, and I just call with plans to pop him on the turn and start a raising war in $30 units. A deuce falls on the turn and he bets out, I raise, reraise, I reraise, he just calls. River pairs one of the small cards i thinks the 5 so he bets, I raise him he reraises me, and looks at me and says, "raise it up". So I do and he predictably pops me back, so by this time I just want this hand to be over and cash out to go home with a nice score, so what does he show me, yup-the 3-4o.

I literally had a massive headache for hours after that.

Sounds like something a complete *sshole would do. As does renting a suite at the Bellagio for months on-end.

the weird thing to me is how on HSP booth was saying that he played poker every day for the past ten years or so. if after ten years he didn't learn to hold onto his money in a better way than renting a suite at the bellagio long term and making huge ass bluffs, then he ain't ever going to learn.

Well he might've started out playing well earlier in his career...but obviously fame/ego can turn a winning player into an idiot. If he's making plays like shoving his 42 (or whatever it was) into Ivey's KK (in HSP) is a good way of going broke.

Isn't it likely he's just testing the online waters with a small portion of his roll? I remember a few of the live players were talking about having a separate online roll during one of the HSP episodes.
