When I lived in apartments like this, I was always terrified that some girl would come in when I was pulling her crap out of the w/d, see me with her unmentionalables in my hands and freak out. (note: yeah, I'm that insecure)

Folding underwear is way, way beyond the call of duty. In my dorm room people just throw it off to the side onto the table. Sometimes they do this with clothes FROM THE WASHER still damp. I remember staying up until 2AM when I had classes at 8 because of this.

Just putting it into the right basket, from where I come from, is medal worthy. The frat house situation is different--everyone knows everyone, and everyone seems almost everyone else most days.

i'm 39 and married and this is still part of the reason i won't touch others clothing in the laundry (unless i need to throw them in the trash) [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img].

It is not your insecurity, it is today's societies insecurities and the fact that people freak out about things that where never thought twice about "back in the day".
