This is good advice, I actually think I played better without chat, and no one in this thread has said "I played better with chat than without it." I'm considering emailing all the sites I play on and asking them to ban my chat, as I doubt i have the self control to not use it if I ahve it.

I do not know where "pedoowl" came from. I really wish they would put in there what he was saying to, because I'm sure he would have gotten his chat banned too, but I was nice and let it slide.

I got my chat banned for 3 months for telling an FTP beggar to post his suicide vid on utube and id send his family the 5$
i lost it permanently for asking perkyshmerky for 25$ for karate lessons as he was giving money away one night.

[/ QUOTE ] I don't know if it was FT or PS, but I got a warning once--don't know who reported whom. But two things I specifically remember is that they look over the whole chat and will ban chat even if they weren't the one who was complained about (so if someone baits someone else, then complains, they're just at risk) and that they'll only cut and paste *your* chat in the letter to you, so you won't see any extraneous chat; just what got your chat warned or banned.

people that use the chat much are probably too personally involved to be winning players at higher limits. so i suggest you dont draw attention to yourself and make other players want to play their best against you. unless of course you are playing for just your ego and not to get rich.
