i wonder about spots like this, and obviously i have similar tendencies of my own from time to time (i think they call it "the calling station" or something like that).
anyhow, it makes me wonder, because as a calling station i really want them to bluff me a lot (obviously), but, when i play a hand like this, or somewhere else where i play a big pot with a seemingly little hand, are they really going to bluff me ever again? and how do i know, without calling them down again? basically, is taking a marginally +EV spot like this (if its +EV, its not hugely +EV, but i dont want to argue too much about that aspect). so are we better off taking a little bit of maybe +EV here, or folding and encouraging them to bluff more later, which will lead to probably more +EV down the line. If you're wrong here, not only will you lose a big pot, but you'll also stop them from bluffing you in the future, and thats baddddd (unless you can lever your newfound donk image into valuetown by fake tilting or something)

i dont think ppl actually stop bluffing u in the future, even tho they tell themselves that they will. they may even get frustrated and bluff more, thinking that you won't expect them to bluff again [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
