nielsio, I've gotta say this, your advice is beginning to border on downright insane. Just because we led to b/3b does not mean we have to after we are minraised. New information can change your plans

New information can change your plans [/ QUOTE ] I'm not saying you have to. What I'm arguing for is that raising is +EV. What I'm also arguing for is that calling (as played) is potentially hugely negative implied odds. What I'm also arguing for is thought out and consistently executed plans. Calling me borderline insane is not appreciated, thank you. |

"potentially hugely negative implied odds"
i found this funny =) but there arent to many higher FDs out there. TJ QJ KQ KJ are the only legit ones |

Re: 200NL 6max Combo Draw bet/3bet?
Fold preflop. These hands are regularly too difficult to play from OOP.
I would bet close to pot on the flop. The whole difficulty in this hand comes from the pot not being inflated enough for you to have a simple decision to shove. If you led out for $22, and it got back to you facing a miniraise+CC there'd be ~$135 in the pot, making a shove a lot simpler/more valuable. It also just would have been a more credible flop lead, seeing as two pair/a set are unlikely to lead for considerably less than pot into two players on a drawy board from OOP. As played, with the odds being offered, I think there's a good argument for calling. Basically, against two villains, one of whom cold called a raise, FE looks to be pretty limited. Also, higher flush draws will be getting close to the right price to call a shove now that the pot has been inflated, so the utility of the move goes down. With that said, though, I think it's close, and it's probably right to mix up your play in a spot like this. Apart from anything, you should think about how you'd play a set in a spot like this and take the exact same line at least some of the time. |

Re: 200NL 6max Combo Draw bet/3bet?
Propmike welcome to SSNL, nice post. I agree with alot, but i think mixing it up VS and unknown and a 20/10 is a huge waste of EV, vs regulars this aspect is important though

Just want to point out something I'm not sure everybody has thought of. We love getting it all in vs a higher fd on this flop, as long as it's HU.

No, we'd rather they fold.
