Another reason it's hard to pick out specific sketches from Monty Python or Mr. Show is how the shows were put together with links. The whole show flowed together, and sometimes went back and forth between sketches.

It was posted in LoL a bit ago... the talk show where the guest has a very high pitched voice and the host starts to laugh at him.

yeah - but usually the sketches stand out enough. still, a lot of the classic python sketches are clipped - (for example, the parrot sketch has a bit about another pet store and bolton being the palindrome of ipswich)

and i already nominated ass pennies, which was online a few weeks ago (or so I thought).

This reminds me off the Monty Python sketch where everything one man (obviously dull and boring) says is hilarious to everyone, and the man must be fired from his job because he's too much of a distraction.

I've always thought of SNL Celebrity Jeopardy as a rip off of the SCTV parody.

My personal favourite SCTV: Schmenge brothers eg. salute to John Williams. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4_am24J56M

And speaking of Canadians, my favourite Kids in the Hall sketch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYDOs...ed&search=
