True. Kirk's getting his ass kicked by Vader no matter how severely he gesticulates.

Pop quiz: How large of a cube of water would the Death Star have to completely convert to energy in order to completely gravitationally unbind a planet similar to Earth?

It's Death Star in a massacre. Death Star vs. Borg Cube is the close matchup you were looking for.

Death Star vs Borg Cube is the immediate destruction of the cube.

The question is how many cubes does it take before the borg adapt or teleport in and assumilate the death star from the inside out?

Borg controlled Death Star, anyone?

Sorry to (sort of) hi-jack.

The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the force.

That said, concentrating super hard and destroying a planet via The Force was apparently never a practical consideration.

I'm sure Lucas will iron out all them contradictions in the live-action television show (due to debut in '09).

Warp 1 is the speed of light. Warp 2 is twice the speed of light. Warp 3 is twice warp two. Warp 4 is twice warp 3. With each increase in warp speed there is a geometric increase in speed.

The Enterprise has warp 9 capability. This is 250 times the speed of light. The fastest ship in all of Star Wars is warp 1.

Kirk's Enterprise would wipe out all of Star Wars, both good guys and bad. The Death Star has no mobility, the Imperial cruisers and the rebel good guy cruisers can barely do warp 1. Plus the force really does not have that much of a range. If it were that strong then why would Vader have to build the Death Star.

The Enterprise by ground and pound. It's not even close!
