why bet pot on turn and 2x pot on river instead of 1.2x pot on turn and 1.2x pot on river?

i'd need a read that villain is capable of overbet bluffing here to call.... Not many people can do that, so I fold

okay

in this hand, i had 66

how is my play?

Thanks for posting this Baluga. I was hero.

I folded JJ and hated/regretted it immediately.

I felt like this was obviously either some huge hand or total air. And that he was capable of this with both.

I felt like my range was pretty polarized, but I could take this line with sneakier [censored] occasionally. I just didn't feel like getting stacked this deep if he was trying to keep the uber fish in the pot.

wanted to keep the fish in.

Yeah, the fish in the pot was the thing that [censored] my head up here.

There is NO WAY Baluga raises flop here with a monster hand, because this guy was BEYOND horrible.

Yeah this would have taken me to value town pretty much always against a 'known spewer'. :P

Fish was getting away from aggression, but he was calling down with like ATC.

Also, Baluga has the deck crushed here, he'd love for fish to hit his flush or to draw to a 4 card flush if a spade rolls off.

To me having 99 versus JJ/QQ isn't that big a difference. I doubt he is ever value pushing here figuring you are calling with worse. I think his range included a missed FD, 3s4s, or a boat. Had to know frequencies of those.

Does he know you are capable of calling with a hand like 99? I would suppose he does if he is a regular 2+2er.

[/ QUOTE ]

Just wanted to quote this...

I felt like if he puts me on 77-99, Baluga would be capable of going with his read shoving missed spades when he had a ten, like TJss for example, effectively merging his range(tm).
