OP: Stake Something Clever or Joeblack they are both good players and posters.

Don't stake me, I need about 25k more hands before I'm even a real player.

I think I'd make a good player to stake because for me poker is an end and not a means. I have a full time job and am learning the field of options trading so I can usually only play 2-3 hours each night.

I read up about the game a lot to constantly improve even while I am not playing. Back in the party days I played a lot of 5-10nl with some 10-20 and was a consistent winner(15k/month).

A few months back I ran well on mansion poker and won ~15k over the course of two months at 2/4 but cashed it all out when the site shut down and used the money for a down payment.

I think that because I dont have to play all the time is why when I do play I do pretty well. I'd definitely like to get back to beating 3/6 and maybe some 5/10.

I can only assume by the absence of an enormous wave of PMs in my inbox that half of 2+2 is fighting over staking rights...

I used to just be solely a tourney donk, and fared fairly well. Last April I decided to play cash games to offset the variance. I used to be a winner at $200 and $400 NL on party, then I quit after the legislation. I decided to recently start playing again 3 weeks ago. Here's a graph of my first 50k hands at party.

Like I said I started playing 3 weeks ago, by depositing $600 on stars. Here's what I've done so far starting at $50 NL and am at $200 now.

I'm mainly interested in the coaching/staking because I feel it could take me to a level that I previously would not be able to get to on my own.
*Edit* also I feel I'm rusty, adn the games are different from when I played a lot.
FWIW I also lived in Vegas last summer with another 2+2er and played a few series events (including ME), a lot of 5/10 NL, and won a Bellagio $1k daily for 40k.

Hi there. I currently play 1/2 NL on a very soft site. My winrate over my past ~100k hands is over 5ptbb and I know I could be beating 2/4-3/6 with a little help and if I wasn't such a bankroll nit. I'm nowhere close to busto (in fact I'm over-rolled), but would be interested in a staking arrangement as a a learning oppurtunity more than anything. It would also help me overcome my fear of moving up, so I think it could potentially be very profitable for the both of us. By the way, I started playing NL in the beginning of 2007. I crushed 100 pretty good, but struggled with 200 over the first few monthes. However, since May, I have been playing very solid and I feel that I'm currently one of the best players at my site/limit.

(As you can see, I'm a much better player in my most recent 100k hands compared to my first 100k)

~70k hands of this is at 100 - rest is 200.

I'd give a try in 0.01/0.02 in pokerstars.

I can send you PT database or whatever.. I got 5$ to 400$(250$ + 150$ in NL100 table), but lost the 150$ on a stupid hand -> then monkey tilt on NL100..

This solved my discipline problem, but I'm no longer rolled for anything..

I know the mechanics of the game(from the basic charts, to metagame, sklansky bucks theory, implied odds, set mining, taht stuff..)

Turned the 5$ in 400$ in PLO, but I think I play NL or PLO reasonably good ( not baller, though ).
