[ QUOTE ] on a serious note, i think your best bet would be to ignore anything about her music, fame, or that whole bit. treat her like you would treat any other chick you like. [/ QUOTE ] in oot this means "breaking into her house and masterbating in her closet every night hugging her picture and sobbing" [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: Hitting on Famous People
One of my best friends got extremely famous last year. I got to meet lots of famous chicks while hanging out with him in LA. I just tried to be myself and that seemed to work pretty well.
It's really not anything you can accurately describe until you've experienced it , but really famous people are constantly bombarded by people who a completely full of [censored] about all sorts of things. My friend commented on the fact that he liked having us (his old friends) around specifically because we treated him like a normal person. Of course, he doesn't care about random hot chicks coming up and trying to [censored] him, but I imagine it would be a lot different for a female celebrity. |

Re: Hitting on Famous People
this is easy, but will likely result in you getting shutdown.
Treat her like any other girl at the party, ask her to dance and talk to her and [censored]. Eventually ask her what she does for a living (like you would any other new person you meet). Then stick it in her. |

Re: Hitting on Famous People
My thinking has shifted.
Everyone at this wedding is going to be all over this one girl, my chances, however slim before, are even worse due to the nature of the event, I will be lucky if I get an introduction. The ideal situation would be if she was there with some of her friends, they would be so used to being in the shadows that they should be ecstatic when I ignore their friend and go strike up a conversation with them. I can probably then work my way to an introduction to the original girl, and this introduction when coming from one of her friends will give me a better chance than if some random aunt is like, "here, meet my nephew..." and if she isn't instantly wowed by my wit/charm then at least I've got her friend to work on. It's like the part in a beautiful mind when Nash decides they should all go after the B squad and not the hottest girl... |

Re: Hitting on Famous People
People around stars can be paranoid and over-protective. Sometimes it's because it's their meal ticket, sometimes it's their point of pride in life, sometimes it's just their friend. Don't think you can be assured of cutting through someone's entourage like buttah.
