I don't know why Jamie Gold gets slammed all the time. I think the guy is hilarious and gregarious.

It would have been interesting to see Gold take at least one huge beat at the final table. I felt like a lot of his "friendly talk" was because he was terrified of losing, e.g. the attitude he took with Rizen when he knocked him out. imo, Gold would have totally unraveled if he lost one of the hands where he "trapped" someone with pair over pair.

top top ftl.

There will never ever ever ever be another back to back main event winner.

He blew so many people out of pots and left a ton of money on the table on a lot of hands.

Especially on the small straight hand against Cunningham. Cunningham's not going to go broke on that pair, but Gold could have gotten more out of him, IMO.

He caught so many cards before the heads up action, that he should have had his tables more cripple than they were with the hands he was making. He didn't extract the maximum.

Watch his REAL bad play on Live at the Bike, before he won the Main Event. He is a trainwreck of a cash player.

Also, 12 million should make you really cool in life, but He was too much of a Nerd for BoDog. [insert](burn)

Wish I had 12 million and wasn't cool enough for Bodog. [insert](burn)

I'd like to see a back to back title from Jamie Gold. I think he is very good for the game.

Once upon a time, it was Chris Moneymaker's turn to be raked over the coals, now it's Jamie's turn.

I think Jamie has recognized how much of a tool he was at the ME and may try to change that for the better.

I'm willing to give him another shot if he's gonna change. He probably won't be so brash if he doesn't have a giant chip stack.
