[ QUOTE ]
PokerNews is under the same one-hour delayed restrictions as the webcast, so I was forced to wait one hour before posting everything. So I time-stamped everything in a text file, and cut-and-paste it into PokerNews at the right time an hour later. [/ QUOTE ] What you need is a CMS system in which you can set the time and date when the post/article is published. Then you can just write what happened, set the publish time +1 hour and forget it. It's not that difficult, my company sells CMS in which timing feature is standard stuff BTW thanks for the effort, I for one appreciate it. |

I think BJ Nemeth is the top tournament hands reporter we have. (This year we some other good writers -- Gary Wise and Tom Sexton to name two.) Unfortunately, the systems are bad because they haven't been time-tested, due to the decision to only allow inexperienced sites to do the reports.
Pokerpages, pokerwire, and cardplayer have all been getting better over the last two years and then they got handcuffed during the WSOP. Barry |

please remember too that we are only 4 years out from Moneymaker and less than that for "live" internet updates. They're improving every year. Early NBA/NFL coverage was rough too.
