So what's your Dad doing while all this is happening? Standing by your mother inside calling the police while his two sons are outside with bats? I think a situation like this calls for over the top scare tactics as none of these kids reallly want to fight, they just want to pretend they're thugs or something. If your dad came out with a chainsaw I guarantee they would all scatter.
