Wazz, I'd love to see some examples of this. I'm not interested in names, just examples of collusion.

Editted to add: just to aid me in IDing collusion, of course.

hey luckyjim if u lowlimit the tourneys r pretty easy on stars
and ub has some if u like shorter fields.
also stars sngs are pretty easy

as to ft collusion, from the zoo bot threads it seems like FT doesnt mind groups playing from same house, so I would imagine if people are gonna collude theyd do it in a game with more info like omaha rather than one with less info to share like holdem.

Default Collusion on FTP?

I don't know why we'd want to protect alleged colluders?

I had an interesting hand at FTP against two people. I checked, MP checked, and then LP bet like 30% of pot. I had good odds to call for some nut draw so I did, but then MP reraised.

As soon as this happened, a 4th person at the table (maybe it was Wazz?), started screaming "Collusion Collusion!!". The funny thing was that since I had like a 14 or 15 out draw, I had the correct odds to call. I did and then hit, and boy was MP pissed. LP immediately got up and left.

The story is pretty worthless without the HH isn't it. I'll try to dig it up.

(BTW, this is only the second time I've ever felt like I was colluded against. Most of the time when something this blatant happens it seems like people are just playing retarted, but you never know....)

thanks for the answers and links.

can anyone link me to Troll's low limit post? I imagine its 'only draw to the nuts' type stuff right?

I've read SS2, and watched a few CR vids (but not stinger yet). What's wrong with aba's omaha vids?

I was at the western club in west london about a month ago. They're affiliates of full tilt. On the friday night, I saw two people playing the same MTT, 3 computers apart. I asked the manager about it and he said that they weren't colluding because they weren't on the same table, and if they were they would have been separated - fair enough. I also asked what else they or full tilt had in place to stop people colluding, and he admitted that, short of keeping an eye out, they're powerless to stop it within their own club. However, he also stated categorically that 'it doesn't happen here'. Fair enough, again.

The very next night, I saw two guys playing the same two $2/4 6-max PLO tables on adjacent computers, sharing hole cards and not getting involved with each other in pots. I again brought it to the attention of the manager who promptly went straight over to them and said 'that fella there says you guys are colluding..... cool it would ya', for which I got verbally threatened, and I now don't feel welcome there anymore.

I infer that collusion is rife on the FTP low-medium stakes 6-max PLO tables, rightly or wrongly, for a few reasons: 1. I've lost a lot of money at full tilt, almost exclusively playing these tables; 2. some weird things have happened while i've been playing - instacalls of my bluffs - how were you immediately so sure it was a bluff? ; 3. full tilt took over a month and a half to reply to my original email, and basically told me nothing other than 'we're powerless without screennames'; 4. the western club clearly don't give a sh*t; 5. a good deal of the people who play at the western seem like scumbags to me who will take any edge.
