It is amazing how many low post count trolls come out when a thread like this comes up. Mods bad! Rubbish good! Meh. You go, NT! Keep up the good work.

hooray for the upcoming travel forum!!!

also - Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is okay but is hardly anything super-fantastic. It's a chain. Been to the one in Memphis and we weren't overly impressed.

Haha, yeah I'm from Boston and don't eat red meat, that was just an example.

You see similar posts to this in all of the forums. For example, we see posts something like this in Internet Bonuses: "Hi where is the best bonus right now". How is anyone supposed to answer meaningfully without knowing where the OP is from (US or not), what stakes they play, what game they play, what their bankroll is, etc? We just end up with a rambling discussion about different bonuses at different sites, none of which might even be applicable to OP. Or how about a thread in a strat forum along the lines of: "I have TT in the big blind...should I raise?" These posts are a waste of time.

Many forums don't lock these threads, but obviously they do in OOT, and this is explained in the FAQ. Sounds reasonable to me.

I agree with Homer and Microbob...

it's pretty silly that a lot of posts aren't moved to the relevant forum and are locked instead. many could be moved to laughs and links, bbv, etc.

Overuse of thread locking is for lazy mods. Save the thread or move it to somewhere more appropriate.

Sorry

As I just joined 2p2 my post count will naturally be lower. Also I never once said the Mod was bad. He can mod his forum as he pleases.I just expressed my opinion. And as Micro Bob kindly pointed out a travel forum is coming.

Also Ill try to have a bunch of snazzy oneliners in the upcoming weeks to up my post count for you

Hi "unbluffable"...what I don't get is how your original account went basically unused for over two years but in the last few days you peeled off like 250 posts on it.

It was good that you got banned, but inevitable that you would return - you're not really a troll but your posts are pretty much always worthless fluff that provides no value to the forums.

I hear there's a part of the software that allows you to not see the body of any poster you don't like

Shake,

Uh, what? Did you miss the part where I said he wasn't a troll? I don't think he's worthy of ignore (yet) but if you're familiar with him the last week or so he basically spams OOT and apparently other forums with unfunny, unthoughtful one-liners. If everyone did that the forums would be 100% unreadable.

As an aside, I always thought ignore was a tool for the weak. I still do, but finally admitted I am weak, putting Bi-Tard on ignore. Not reading any of his terrible posts alternating between trolling, stupidity, and his mail-order bride has increased my forum experience a lot, so I'm glad to have it.
