Re: Bill Gates
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] seriously. It would make virtually no difference in his bottom line if he played 1/2 NL or 1000/2000 NL at the end of the day. [/ QUOTE ] To those of us that understand poker, agree. To a majority of the uninformed investors in NASDAQ (MSFT) and general public, it might have an impact on stock price if Bill was known to play $1000/2000 NL. Incorrectly so, but may cause problems. [/ QUOTE ] im pretty sure microsoft-stock wouldn't riffle for one penny if news got out bill was pimping it up with hookers and blow at the bellagio....well the blow-part possibly could i guess |

Re: Bill Gates
bill might make buggy software but he has a big heart, outside of business, and you gotta give him credit for that.

Re: Bill Gates
I was in the computer business from 1988 to 2001. DOS 3.1 to WinNT. You will never, ever get me to say anything good about Bill Gates. Anyone who was there--and wasn't made rich by Microsoft's business practices--would say the same.
I'd say the same thing about John D. Rockefeller, who kept dimes in his pocket to give to kiddies to improve his image. History repeated. "Greed is good." Gordon Gecko I guess a good press advisor can work miracles. |
