Re: Taylor Caby on HSNL
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] serious question: is taylor caby actually any good at poker? [/ QUOTE ] serious answer: no he sucks and you should play him headsup for bankrolls [/ QUOTE ] i'm sure you're being sarcastic and you think he's some high stakes god, but i was being completely serious. i wouldn't play him HU for rolls, but that doesn't mean he's got some kind of big advantage on me... when i asked if he was good, i really meant what i said. |

Re: Taylor Caby on HSNL
I just realised that in my mind, Taylor Caby and Jason Strasser were the same person.

Re: Taylor Caby on HSNL
I remmeber aobut 1.5 years ago, he and Prahlad were playing 50/100 HU on UB, and Taylor said to prahlad how pathatic he was, and how he would never want to waste his life playing sitting in front of a PC all day, playing cards. Prhalad replied with his pattented "never talk to me again. Chat off".

Re: Taylor Caby on HSNL
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] umm both of them played that thoroughly HSNL-standard [/ QUOTE ] i'd also like to chime in and say his line is not good. [/ QUOTE ] Why do the good HSNL players make these kind of comments without actually suggesting a better line? I would be interested in hearing those thoughts, even if it's just a one sentence better way to play it, and preferably a slight justification. I realize THK gave a suggestion, which basically involves giving up against any resistance on more than one street post flop. That seems reasonable with big stacks and being OOP with a mediocre hand. I'm assuming Taylor isn't so tight that he can't call a preflop reraise on the button and float the flop bet with worse than top pair though. Then again if you play a big pot with him on the turn here then he'll have KJ beat. |
