Boro,

I do this with tons of songs, but most just when they are relatively new or if I haven't listened to them in a while.

Rebellion (Lies) by Arcade Fire and Strawberry by Everclear are two I've been doing recently.

The types of songs I am most likely to do this for are songs that I really like a lot but also feature some short parts within the song that I especially love.

Built to Spill - Car
probably for a specific little part, like ElD proposed. Its the verse after the guitar solo:

I want specifics on the general idea
I wanna think what I should know
Want you to do me what to show
I wanna see movies of my dreams

Also, Alkaline Trio - Hell Yes. I think I repeat this one because the ending guitar riffs go well with the opening one and it makes me want to hear it again.

Yeah; for me it's usually the lead guitar solos, like I already mentioned from My Sharona. There's a song by The Refreshments called Suckerpunch that has just a fantastic guitar solar in it, very hot licks, but is so damn short. I will literally cue back the song in the middle and play the solo 2 or 3 times before letting the song finish. It's almost OCD.

Whenever I'm listening to Twinz by Big Pun and hear the "Dead in the middle of little italy" I don't even make it through the song, I immediately go back.

rolling stones - sweet virginia
lynnard skynnard- freebird
built to spill- broken chairs

I do this with any new songs that i really like, except its not so much twice in a row as 25 times in a row. The awesomest thing is when i listen to a song so much i get sick about it, forget about it, and then remember it and got through the process all over again.
