That should keep a hardcore stoner in supply for two weeks.

[/ QUOTE ]
this is wrong in multiple areas.

One ounce is slightly more than 28 grams. 8.5 grams is a fat quarter. A serious stoner could blow through that in a few days. This is not a lot of weed.

If you are on a full subway car in a major US city, there is a decent chance that someone in there has this much weed on them.

I haven't smoked weed in a few years, but this probably about $100 worth if its good. Tuq's bachelor party would need more than this to last the weekend.

Anyone familiar with MLB CBA? Is pot off limits for screening? Seems like a lot of ball players are reported to smoke up (yeah, I know: seems like).

So this guy was: legally drunk + speeding(in a construction zone) + possibly high + not wearing a seatbelt + talking on the cell phone.

Everything you shouldn't do while driving.

Just sad.

[/ QUOTE ]
id be willing to wager that most of us have done all these things at once in the past except for maybe the drunk part.
the drunk part is the only real problem here.

Never been high, but does being high impair your judgement? Just curious, b/c you assume most of us have done it. I guess I'm pretty lame, b/c I've only done the cellphone thing on speaker phone & have sped.

Driving high by itself is not really that bad at all in my opinion. I actually find it makes me drive slower (like under the speed limit), cause it just feels like im going fast for some reason.

Driving drunk is very stupid on its own, but when weed and alcohol are combined, the effects of each on your motor skills become much more pronounced. It would be a terrible, terrible idea to drive while drunk and high.

But how many of us have done all of these things AT THE SAME TIME? But really the drunk part is bad enough. But if the coach can do it....monkey see monkey do.

Come on now, you aren't really arguing that being on a cell phone is more dangerous than driving drunk right? Are you saying that b/c he was driving drunk that being on the cell phone was like the final straw, like a combo of the two dangerous distraction/impairment--b/c that I agree w/. But if you are saying that talking on the cell phone by itself is more of a problem than drinking and driving I would like to hear why?
