104 Saturday, holla. Hit like 6 OB.

Hit a wind-aided 335yd drive on 18 though, so I'm pretty impressed with myself.

What is your HDCP that a 93 is such a disappointment?

Anyway, good for you to have a "reverse sandbagger" on the hook. I know one of them, I hate getting paired with him because it's like instantly giving the other team 3-4 shots. He shoots his best rounds when nobody is watching, "finds" his ball in the desert 100% of the time when he looks for it himself, and otherwise just can't face the fact that he's insecure about his abilities and simply not as good as he is trying to project.

I have not really tried to get a handicap in years. When I was in college I used to play to a 4-5. Now if I am playing well I shoot in the low 80s. Of course now when I'm the course I'm either gambling or in a charity captain & crew tournament so it's hard for me to judge a "real" score.

This guy pulls some decent coin off of some other guys that I give shots to. He just feels like he is on the same level as me and not as them, but he is much closer to them.

I thought that boat was going to end on the last round of last year. I was short some cash so I raised the stakes on him and just raked him over the coals for $250. Then he spent the whole winter talking about how he wanted to get back out against me!

This should be fun.

Beat: I shot at 129 at Calusa Country Club

Brag: I only took 3 hours 45 minutes.

Beat: I shot 139 a week ago, so 129 was an improvement.

Brag: Every single time I took out my sand wedge, I hit it perfectly straight, high, exactly 100 yards, and it stopped 2 feet from where it landed.

Beat: I could have thrown the ball farther than it went when I used every other club.

Beat: That performance was after 3 hours worth of private instruction over the course of 1 month.

Beat: I've been playing for probably 4 years.

Beats - 4
Brags - 2

I hate golf.

Shot an 89 on Saturday at my (ex) home course, Philmont Country Club.

Unfortunately, I resigned my membership this summer because I don't leave the city enough to make my membership worth it.

Too bad, because I brought my index down from around a 22-23 at the beginning of last year to a 16.7 at the end of the summer.

Birdied the 440 yard par 4 7th, tripled 3 par threes, 3 putted from 4 feet to make bogey on the 10th, and missed another short birdie putt to close out my membership on 18.

Hit the ball well though, now it's time to tear up the Philly area public courses, both munis and high end. I've been looking forward to playing some of the higher end daily fee courses. If anyone wants to join up, drop me a line.

Visited Bermuda last week, went to a few courses. Though I played well at this Belmont Hills course, 78 with a 42 and 36. Started off horridly with trip, dub, then started striking the ball awesomely and putting well. I golf a lot, senior on my high school golf team right now.

Went from 124 2 weeks ago to 109 last week to 108 today.

From the tips at local course, anyone who knows Rose Ridge or lives near Pittsburgh PM me, I golf 18 every Tuesday and sometimes Sundays also.

I shot 81 today. I missed a lot of putts. I shanked a ball ob on a par 3, then managed only a bogey. I birdied the last 2 holes.

My 9 iron that I ordered to replace the one I lost came in today. Maybe I will shoot better not having to jump from 8 iron to pw.

I will put it more mildly than Ghostface, but if you are shooting these numbers you should not be playing the tips. Play as far forward as you can given your playing partners and such.
