guids, I wasn't picking on you, just expressing my doubt at your statement based on the fact that I see waaaaaay more evidence of irresponsible/inconsiderate dog owners than inconsiderate cat owners on a daily basis. Maybe the ill effects of free-roaming cats are just less visible.

Cat owners Vs dog owners in general, I have no idea. but cat owners who let their cats go outside whenever they want are WAY worse than dog owners, even dog owners that dont pick up after the dogs.

THere are tons of cat/dogs in my neighborhood. The dog owners in general are way worse about picking up after their dogs. Of course it really seems to be just a few bad apples though. I've never really noticed a cat [censored] problem.
I'd probably try the water gun/hose etc. approach.

Uhm, yes, but that doesnīt change the fact that they miss out all the exciting things that will happen in a cats life when itīs allowed to live in freedom

Lots of cats are totally fine outside.

guids hate of cats and cat-owners is weird.

There are lots of really freaking rude dog-owners out there but I would never make a blanket-statement about ALL dog-owners being crap-individuals.

But there are some dog-owners who don't give a crap that their dog is barking really loudly all night long keeping much of the neighborhood awake.

There are some dog-owners in the neighborhood where I live who don't really care at all about cleaning up after their pet. Just let it sit there in the middle of the sidewalk or right next to the sidewalk. Very attractive.

Most cats are discreet and go to a tree or deep into some bushes or something.

I run across far more dog-crap walking around almost any neighborhood and very rarely run across cat-crap. And this is mostly from dogs who are being walked by their owners who know they are supposed to be cleaning up after their pet.

Again though, I'm not about to declare all dog-owners to be horrible people just because of the reasonably lousy number of idiots among them.

Also - Yes, I'm declaring that I can actually tell the difference between dog-crap and cat-crap.

I dont hate all cat owners, like I said, the ones who keep their cats inside are great in my book. I hate all animals in general, well, Ill rephrase, I hate any and all inconvenience caused by pets in an urban setting, no matter how small the inconvenience may be.

similar story.

neighbors dog would bark like a mofo.
no reason at all, prolly autistic or something.
So, one day, I am like "[censored] this". I love dogs and all, but this is just out of control.

So, I walk up to the fence, pick up a rock, and throw it. It misses. I throw a few more, and then Pow! hit it right near its neck.

It got very scared/possibly hurt, and ran off. The next day,it was back to barking...

I hate that dog w/ a passion. for 5 years it has been barking non stop.

Next time don't throw rocks, throw gainesburger's with a delicious rat poison center.

Seriously, see if your town has a noise ordinance.
