Re: What is the worst book you have ever read?
[ QUOTE ]
A book was written about my grandfather (and later a movie) A civil action. He is the villian in the book. [/ QUOTE ] Was he the lawyer, head of one of the companies, or someone else? Is that the one where Erin Brockovich gives him the water and they play "Every Day is a Winding Road"? |

The Glass Menagerie by Tennesee Williams. It's a play, but we read it in book form in high school. Friggin awful. Thank god it was short.

Re: What is the worst book you have ever read?
I'm sure there's many others that I cannot think of, and do not want to think of, but 'Rose Red' by Stephen King has to be up there.
Conversely, is anyone else a Donald Westlake fan? |

Any sequels to "Rich Dad, Poor Dad".
All the Brian Herbert Dune novels (yet somehow I continue to buy them) The Great Gatsby (Just because a trashy romance novel is X years old doesn't mean it is literature) And the winner: Killer online poker, quite possibly the worst book I have ever opened. |

The Bible [/thread] [/ QUOTE ] Lol thats crazy talk. The bible is easily one of the best books ever. It's better if you're an atheist, you can appreciate it more. Edit: You gotta read an older version where the language hasn't been dumbed down and the poetry of the thing is still intact. |
