Re: Neverwin on 100/200 6-max early this morning (Feb 15)
I had 90k hands on KingKev 3 tabling $15/$30, normally played 1 table of $10/$20 as well.
His other main screen name was incog66 90k hands at well over 2bb/100 No table selection, no seat selection and could play very long hours, one time i datamined him he was playing for over 20 hours, sometimes sat out but never left the table. If you want any images posted, feel free to request as i still have the database. |

hi excel,
i agree with you that 50/40 is gonna be the next "optimal" style. kingkevin, edilweis, ibustchumps and neverwin are some of the biggest winners in my database. |

Re: Neverwin on 100/200 6-max early this morning (Feb 15)
the reason i think is bc this style gives you the best chance to take advantage of good variance.
limit holdem is all luck. its a total sham really. i anticipate most everyone on this site will be broke in a few years. variance will break everyone. now, everyone has good runs. in fact, everyone posting on 2p2 is on a good run. so is kingkevin and neverwin. by playing 20-30% of our hands our ceiling is much lower than those other guys. in essence, we are wasting our good run by not playing enough hands. |

[/ QUOTE ] how many hands have you played? have you ever run at 30% w$sd for 10s of thousands of hands? i have and its absolutely impossible to win. i will have even worse runs. one of which will destroy my roll. |

Of course I've run bad, but your logic is a total phallacy.
When we're running good we're supposed to change what makes us winning players to win more? |

[/ QUOTE ] If TAGs or 30/20s or whatever have no idea what makes them winning players, then why even bother posting here? Why bother reading 2+2? If poker is just luck, then flush all your 2+2 books down the toilet and start playing every hand when you're running good. Back to the original more interesting discussion, you guys are drawing sweeping conclusions from the gameplay of 3-4 players who play a certain style and are undoubtedly incredible post-flop players. I think you guys are caught up in the newest fad of online short-handed poker and that only time will tell if these players are right or go broke. |
