Thanks Stephen

Had a blast at the tournie and also a decent run at it. Was even chiplead for like an hour on day 2 lol and the Paddy Last Chip Lead for quite some time.

My demise came on the feature table in two big hands. First against Carlos Citrone for most of me stack when we both got it in preflop for a pot of >110k and his QQ beat up on my AA when he flopped his set.

With only 16.5k left I pushed in SB with Q7s (well I was an internet qualifier!!) and up against BB's Q6 I doubled up to 35k. Then moved in with J6 to steal shortstacks BB and move to 40k.

Not much later an aggro Scandi (opening alot of pots) opens another for 9k and i move in for 40k. He says if u have a pair I'm in trouble and calls. He flips 66, I flip 99 and dealer promptly flops JJ6 and I'm walking just before the money

Was a blast, really enjoyed it, and to have played at the same tables as Dave Colclough, Chad Brown (had a good laugh with him link to pic below), Dan Harrington, Ram Vaswani, Carlos Citrone, Tony Betson among many others was first rate. I'll be doing it again

Out, guy who 3bet me approximately 5 times in an hour does it again and has AA > my AK. Then he c/r's and calls a shove with T6o on a QTx two heart board against my J8hh.

You shoved like 45 draws during the AM, if he did some kind of research he might've used that info to make his decision

were there other good players left?

i mean, im asking... why did he chop? or was he just not as dominant a chipleader at the time and got a really good deal?

I don't know any of the details, but that is still a lot of money. I think one of the others was a known pro.

I presume Imper1um was the Canadian Mizzi?

I don't know much about the 4th player (Irishman) but he was up against 2 other pros. Marty Smyth, the evntual winner, is from N.Ireland and has reportedly lifted well over $1M from online poker.

The other, an Englishman Roland De Wolf is just on fire these days and won, among others, an EPT in Dublin in Oct (The Irish Masters), see hendonmob

but from what I gather Mizzi did alright in the deal and took 400keuro.

It seemed that the structure also was a factor in him agreeing to chop it up. From seven handed everyone was forced into push or fold mode and it was tough to exercise any sort of skill edge.
