Well the dealers said that tournament tables shouldn't have shufflers. Don't know why. But it could be, hopefully, that they plan to have multiple tournaments a day because they'll have all the free tournament tables and cash games won't be able to open up on them. (No shufflers and no jackpot drop slot.)

BTW, I'm just being optimistic, I doubt they would ever want to run multiple daily tournaments a day.

Yeah, all that would do is take cash game players away from the rake-paying tables.

That being said, I would love for them to have a real tournament series that includes things other than NLHE (eg, LHE, O8, and HORSE). But I think based on things so far that that may be a pipe dream. I guess giving them a little time to settle in might tip us off as to where things are going.

As far as the brush "improvement" goes: I guess they don't think they compete with Choctaw. *shakes head*

They don't switch decks every other hand like they do in a cash game. I've never seen any Vegas torunaments that use a card shuffling device.

You UNT boys should stick with the cash games

I was going to say something but re-read it and don't want to get banned.

If it is going to be saturday, it will have to be pretty early because everyone is going to give the new room a shot that day.

The cracked AA promotion, win a rack of $100. Does it still exist? If so, which day is it on?

Yes it still exist but I can't seem to remember the day it runs. I want to say Tuesday or Thursdays, not 100 percent positive. I'm also pretty sure its only at certain times during the day. Anyways, the high hand promotions are runnings full force as well. $100 every hour.

I think this is the schedule: Tuesdays for AA cracked. High hands are Wednesdays and Thursdays all day except 6pm to 10pm.

How was the temperature in the new room? The last few times I was in the old room, it had to be 85+ degrees.
