Very interesting subject and a fascinating read, very informative.

I've talked to a few businessmen who traveled to Japan for business. From what they told me was that they are shocked to see a lot of businessmen in Japan still wearing suits and ties into the wee hours of the night socializing.
When asked why they were doing this the response was that they still have to network.

In North America we often hear of people too tired for sex, in Japan it must be terrible. How they ever find time is beyond me.

It is basically unheard of for any Japanese businessman to check out of the office at 5-6pm and go home to have dinner with the family. It just doesn't happen.

Wow, different strokes. My Dad was a program manager for the defense department in Rhode Island. He never had to commute more than ten minutes and was home most days by 4:15 pm (he started at 7:30 am or so). Family dinner was served promptly at 5:00 pm and he usually had time to do things like cut the grass before dinner.

Our bedroom was next to my parent's room and if I recall they weren't too tired.

I was referring to actors in videos. I haven't seen any in quite some time, but virtually all the Japanese porn I've ever seen has involved some kind of mock force/rape and neither the victims nor participants seem to be enjoying themselves.
