thanks man. so im a winner at 100NL, well well.

if you pay 10 bucks, do you get to know the "right" answers and the points you got on each question, or just a quick summarize explaining your overall qualities?
just want to know if it's really worth it, or if i already know most about how i did looking at those score groups.

Awesome test. I consider myself a (maybe former) connoisseur of multiple-choice tests, and this one seemed as good as any. Wish I could see the "right" answers listed to know for sure.

Anyway

Q6 -- easiest on the test. raise!
Q7 -- I must have gotten that wrong, I pushed. At the stakes I play, you see all kinds of nonsense in this situation. The TAG 3-betting could easily have AKs, we don't know anything about the button. Aren't we happy getting into this gigantic pot with cowboys? I guess there's a reason I play for .10 big blinds.

re: q3:[ QUOTE ]

I probably play too tight, but my thought is that this is so close that I'd rather wait and get my money in better than this.

the push is either +EV or not. This isn't a tournament, so unless this is your last buyin, take the +EV play and reload if you get beat.

I think the research backs up my initial thought that this is AT WORST a coin flip. I know we don't use pokerstove at the table, but you should know that a pocket pair against overcards is slightly favored, and that overcards are combinatorially more likely than a higher pair. Shorty might even have worse. I'm confident the testmakers are saying we can call without resorting to calculators. Nice catch that MP's "think then fold" probably kills a couple bad cards.

feedback appreciated.

Next question!

I took the test and got 111, mean is 100 so i'm better than average, and also according to the breakdown i am a winner at 100Nl and below and this is very accurate... i am trying to move up to 200Nl and having mixed results.

Sorry I haven't updated this in a while. It seemed for a while that this thread had lost interest, and I hadn't checked back with it. I can continue posting questions if people are interested.
