you are right that this may be slightly irresponsible, she thinks she can afford the loan but at the same time she's not very strong at maths. Whether she can actually afford this prob has a fairly high degree of variance. It will obv mean cutting back on the amount of crap she wastes money on, but shouldn't cut into what gets spent on the baby.

She went through a lot of work to get the loan so if she didn't get the implants now, she would def get more depressed. I think this moves it away from being a completely luxury purchase.
