Re: John Edwards and Cancer
[ QUOTE ]
In what sense does it make you nausious? Personally I think he should step down. I really doubt he will be able to beat Obama and Hillary. Also I could never imagine how horrible I would feel if I ran president while my wife was dying and I was not able to spend our last moments together. [/ QUOTE ] its absolutely gross. they decided together to continue his campaign. what more is there to say about the issue? republican hatchet men need to tread very carefully with this one. |

Re: John Edwards and Cancer
[ QUOTE ]
Sorry, but I really don't waste time with what the right wing echo chamber feels is important at the moment. I do find it interesting, however, the tatics and what they choose to ignore. Talking Point 1: Should Edwards run with a sick wife? Ignore: it was okay with Newt to do so. Side Talking Point: Let's question the doctor's diagnosis. Ignore: We know what a great track record we have with that. [/ QUOTE ] What right-wing echo chamber is obsessing about this? John Edwards has been a non-factor in this race. The only publicity he has received so far has been his hiring of anti-Christian bloggers and being called a name by Ann Coulter. But if it makes you feel better to think that smearing Edwards is part of some massive right-wing conspiracy, go ahead. As far as I can tell, right-wingers are ignoring him as much as the rest of America. |

Re: John Edwards and Cancer
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] All these non-issues mostly concern the American voters, it seems, rather than voters in other western democracies. [/ QUOTE ] but to be fair, usually only in the primaries of their opponents - rb [/ QUOTE ] Unfortunately, most Americans are more concerned with where Anna Nicole Smith is buried. (I wish i could make it stop) |

Re: John Edwards and Cancer
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I still see Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers everywhere - it's our way of saying "don't blame us" when all goes to hell [/ QUOTE ] lol awesome, I always see those bumper stickers even now, I wondered why, I figured they were just lazy. Just the other day I was next to one at the stoplight and I yelled out my window "It's was over two years ago get over it" she just gave me a dirty look and looked away. I loled. [/ QUOTE ] I have one of these on my car. I also have a "Doug Duncan for Governor" bumper sticker, and he dropped out before the primary. Why would I take them off? [/ QUOTE ] I feel the same way about my "Where's the Beef?" bumper sticker. |

Re: John Edwards and Cancer
[ QUOTE ]
The form of cancer involved looks so mild that it's questionable that this is even news. Seems more like an attempt to get Edwards some more name recognition to me. [/ QUOTE ] Who says 2+2ers are cynical? |

Re: John Edwards and Cancer
I don't see how anyone would think this would be wrong. If Brett Favre can keep playing football while supporting his wife with cancer, then John Edwards can do the same while running for president.
