What you do while driving

I keep a pair of drumsticks in the car and play along while I'm sitting in traffic.

I have a porta-potty in my car so sometimes I'll go in there at a red light. Maybe on a straight-away in theres not much traffic.

Accidents - 8 not all reported obv surprisingly very few my fault
(FWIW I do a lot of driving)

1- when I first got my lic, I mis judged an island in parking lot, and ran my car over it, well I didn't really go over it. Put the engine into the firewall. -car total loss (Old's delta 88)

2- Make a left turn, someone trying to beat the light t-bones me, read QP ,Axel and Tire Replaced (Mitsubishi pickup)

3-I love tapped a caddy in the Rain in the rear - no damages charges (87 305 Camaro]

4-Skid off ice road into street sign , Car fine, sign toast (camaro again)

5-someone pulling out of a drive way manages to back into my new 99 Z28 [rear QP dented door slightly a miss)

6- this one is all me, I try and take a turn way to fast and hit an oily spot and smash into a car waiting at a stop sign, my front end is crushed as well as my hood)

7-Another one that is me but, Blizzard in the north east 3 years back, lots aof ice and snow I can handle my RWD Card better then most handle FWD , well I lost control and smashed a Center Median and bounced into the middle, avoided a spin out that certainly meant bodily harm and skid across to the guard rail. (TO much damage to list total bill 6 k)[99 Camaro]

8- Middle of the day on a Monday, driving down main street of a down stopped at a light and get whacked by a drunk driver [Muffler Skew, bumper spider webbed. and me I smashed my knee int he dash and needed surgery [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]


Lets not talk speed tickets (5) revocations (3 (one on a restricted use license serving out one the other revocations) and suspensions 25

- Eat difficult foods like meatball subs and macaroni and cheese
- Write elaborate text messages
- Take naps

(okay, that last one I made up)

I drive. Put loud music on the radio to keep me awake. Sometimes I eat as well.

While driving alone:
Sing along to music as loud as I physically can (I've lost my voice multiple times because of long car rides)
Text messages
Makeup (including but not limited to eyeliner and mascara). Eyeliner only at lights, mascara at all times but without using the mirror.
Change clothes
Change shoes
Workout (leg lifts, only my left leg obv, stomach contractions, clenching my bum)
Do my hair (inc. braids, which take two hands)
Race other drivers, usually with their knowledge because I'll point and laugh before I drive away.

Accidents:
This is an interesting question, because I have never hit a moving object. Unfortunately, I have destroyed a mailbox (in the middle of the day, with my mom in the car), pulled in too close to an SUV in a parking lot, scratching their car and breaking my headlight, and gotten hit numerous times in numerous cars, all while parked.

Sometimes I thug it out and rap along pretty fiercely.

Most times I drive anywhere that takes longer than 30 minutes I consume my thoughts with 2 things. Always the same two things. Never changes really.

1) I think about winning various amounts in the lottery and then spent that amount with painstaking detail. I win $10k, $1M, $2M, $20M, $200M. Then I go about spending/investing/donating every single penny. Usually its all the same type of stuff, but keeps me busy.

I would say this is about 80% of my thoughts

2) I think about what would happen if I got into a bad car accident and I was impaled by some large piece of metal and losing lots of blood and couldn't, but had like 5-10 minutes of consciousness left, knowing this was the end. I then go through who I would call, what I would say, if I would take time to pray, etc.

Guess this one is pretty morbid, but its what I do.

I do this a lot while driving also and practically never during other times. Weird.
