Then the VP told him he can go along with him and he will have his statement about the bomb not sent to the Attorney General. So basically Lennox is probably back in action.

Of all the crappy parts of this episode, the assassins letting Lennox live and then him turning them in probably pissed me off the most. It was just really poorly planned writing. No way the main killer would trust Lennox to keep his mouth shut. He'd try to off him. Lennox should've been saved by secret service or something.

I didn't think he was trying to go out the door. I thought he was calling CTU to tell them (while randomly moving towards the door) that was blown up before he could get the call made.
