dude, not sure if you're actually a writer/journalist, but the first sentence is awful.

The sentence you just posted isn't much better.

hey moron - just because i pointed out that you are dumb in another thread, does not mean that you should follow me around trying to convince me otherwise. what inevitably happens when dumb guys take such a strategy is they just wind up looking dumber, but because they are dumb to begin with, they don't even realize it's happening.

in this case, your inability to piece together bits of obvious information is what confirms your stupidity. see, i am not a writer/journalist. this is also a message board, not a forum for posting literary works. on such boards, and in internet conversations in general, a level of informality exists that allows for the casual expression of thought.

lastly, the sentence i constructed is fine. if you simply replace "dude" with the implied "i'm", or leave "dude" and include the implied "i'm" (or "i am" for you more formal types), then my sentence is clear, concise and correct.

just as a little fyi for the socially challenged, i included "dude" as a way of softening what i knew would be a bit of a harsh statement. it's subtle things like this that continue to prove that i am really smart.

First off, I'm not going to get into an e-peen battle about which of us is more intelligent. All that's proven is that you are an ahole.

Obviously you have serious doubts regarding your own intelligence, otherwise you wouldn't feel the need to insult people on the internet.

You've never met, don't know me, and wouldn't have the balls to say "boo" to me in person.

You're probably a typical smart-ass 115 lb kid who doesn't know any better, one day you're going to piss off the wrong guy and realize that there are consequences for your actions.

WTF happened here. LAP said your sentence was bad. The only meaningful responses to that are:

1. No, it isn't because...
2. Yes, it is.
3. I don't see why you think that.

Or just don't respond at all. WTF.
