Raising this river is hardly a leak.

Capping the river after being 3 bet is what I'd call the bad play.

Bernie, I already said earlier in the thread that the river decisions is close.

My post above yours is extrapolating to make the point that I hate the god-bless-him defense. That's why I wrote a clearer example of putting in too much action.

Then just call on the river. Now that I've thought about it more--it's just a call. A chop at best, the more I think about it.

preflop is a losing play imo and i would fold online in a heartbeat bc im gonna see another hand in 1.6 sec. live, against a pro and bunch of buffoons i call bc its fun to gamble and my hand is pretty and its fun crack the [censored] outta ppl. hell i might 3bet if my friend raises utg.

anyway, river is a raise and crying call bc it sure looks like hes valuebetting a set into the obv overpair and who knows maybe he went off with 65 or 45 or a flushdraw and then he rebluffe the riv.

I admit that the "god bless him" line is extremely weak, now that I have re-read it.

My point was that I raise that river (and apparently lose more money in this instance).

It just seems really weak not to raise that spot.

And no, I'm not good enough to lay it down to a 3bet.
