A new version of Punch-Out would be dreamy. Tecmo Super Bowl with nothing but a graphical overhaul would be a gold mine, but obviously impossible due to EA's proximity to Satan. The key to both would be not messing with the incredibly simple gameplay at all, only adding a few new features. [/ QUOTE ] i couldnt agree more punch out was my fav game back in the day and tecmo super bowl was sweet as hell. but punch out would be perfect for the ps3 or 360 to get. |

I'd like to see Cyberball get the Madden treatment.

Back to the Future, GTA-style.
Ghostbusters, GTA-style. Dr. Seuss's world as a 3D platformer. Disney game with the classic characters in the old-fashioned world of the 20's-50's cartoons. Some levels in black & white (this was done in Kingdom Hearts 2, but I thought of it first). Shadowrun sequel, but I want it off the SNES version. I own the Genesis version but haven't played it for longer than 10 minutes, so maybe I'll eventually change my tune. Maniac Mansion 3 with several (if not all) of the original characters and locations, in 3D of course. A good sequel to Super Mario 64 - it's not clear how similar Super Mario Galaxy will be. More Sly Cooper and Jak & Daxter. Gabriel Knight 4. Space Quest 7, Leisure Suit Larry 8 (not Magna Cum Laude), King's Quest 9, Police Quest 5 (not SWAT). Police Quest worked well when graphics were more cartoony, and in the early days of FMV, but I don't know if they could pull it off now - it would be too serious I think. |

Great suggestions so far. [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Archon and Punch-Out (was Fight Night by EA a good substitute?)
I'm going to have to go way back for one that wasn't already mentioned so this is for the old folks here. One of my all-time favorite games was Seven Cities of Gold by EA. It was a Christopher Columbus type game where you set sail and discover new lands, map them out, deal with the natives, find gold or other unique artifacts, then return home to collect rewards and get new objectives based on how well you did. The most innovative feature of the game was it was able to generate new lands randomly so each adventure was different from the last. A 21st century update to the game has a lot of potential. |

Punch-out and Tecmo Super Bowl definitely. There was a PS1 version of TSB that sucked horribly.
I'm pretty sure Secret of Mana had a sequel on PS2. |

Tecmo Super Bowl <-------positive that you can download this with updated rosters
No Mercy <----pretty sure you can download this for computer with new rosters Also, someone needs to make an RPG that spoofs RPGs. There are so many stupid archetypes that too many RPGs follow, the genre is just begging to be spoofed. |
