Scotchnrocks,

Yes flipping someone off is a personal insult. It is wrong. Is bad driving where you almost cause an accident that would cause damage to ones car and maybe injury ok? I don't think so.

But to take the point even further. It's a god damn finger. Who cares. All you have to do is realize you don't know this woman, you don't ever have to think about her ever again. Move on.

It's just like i explained to my mom. This guy didn't do it because he didn't like you. He did it, it was an accident. Would you have gotten mad if this happened four car lengths in front you and didn't involve you? No, no you wouldn't. So don't worry about it. Cutting someone off isn't a personal insult. It's an accident. You can't make them a better driver, just be thankfull your safe and move on. Don't cause a scene or escalate the situation further.

Calm down and reread. Never did I insist that. I only said it in the case of Sponger because I know about what size he is and I would have no problem approaching him if he flipped me off in a parking lot.

you
[ QUOTE ]

He seemed to have acted reasonable by asking why you had to flip him off.

He seems to have acted reasonable by going out of his way to follow a 50 year old lady that flipped him off then confronts her. Yeah I want this guy watching my kids.

[ QUOTE ]

I called you an idiot because you came out of nowhere to get involved with this

[/ QUOTE ]
Came out of nowhere? This is a public message board -- I came out of the intranets and responded to a post.

[ QUOTE ]

and you have ridiculed me with cherry picked phrases from my posts. I hope your day is complete now.

fyp, here:
[ QUOTE ]

And you take advantage of me by using my very own words to defend your positions!

[/ QUOTE ]

Gee sorry I get upset when someone calls me an idiot I should just take it right? No because I am an internet tough guy I decided to 'follow' and 'confront' my flipper offer -- Just taking your advice here, LOL

Now that I've added one more complete retard to my ignore list my day is complete.

Moral of the story: Sometimes when you act like a douchebag in your big ol' blazer, you run into a beat up car that doesn't even have nice rims, and it has an even bigger douchebag in it.

So if you are going to act all douchy, be ready to deal with bigger douches.

Okay so let me get this straight, you are saying that if a woman gives you the finger, when you almost hit her, and you ask her for an apology and she says no you have the right to make her life a living hell?

[/ QUOTE ]

wtf? He just wrote down your mom's tag numbers; it's not like he killed your family's dog.

Leapfrog,

You're being unreasonable. And you sound just like someone who would chase someone else down in a parking lot if they flipped you off.

He'll get home, realize how irrational he is being and forget about it.

I think you're as safe as you can get right now. I mean, I can't think of a way to become safer other than to change your name and move. You're probably ok without doing that, though.
