100 to gamble with or 100 to eat/take cabs/etc?

why would you go to vegas for 3 days with 100 spending money?

[/ QUOTE ]

Hey, if a guy only has $100 for gambling money, who are you to knock him? Not everyone is made of gold or has a poker bankroll. I admire the OP for asking for honest advice about where to play on his limited funds and not just maxing out his credit cards to gamble on borrowed money.

I hope you have a great trip and good luck at the tables.

You just need a soft game, I sat down at a 4/8 game at the Venetian with $100, left 4 hours later +140.

Even in a soft $4/8 game, 12.5 big bets can go fast if you don't get cards.

sit at any 1/2 NL game.
there are always lots of limpers
Wait for a bunch of limpers, Push... they will all fold (most of the time)... nwo you have more blinds to wait for a legit hand to double through on....

me too, the el cortez has to be the greatest casino in vegas. you should play the $1-3 spread limit hold em game which is going all the time. rake is super low, and jackie, the owner, might just end up playing with you. plus the limits are so low on pit games u could take a stab or two at those too. and if youre feelin lucky head to gold spike too
