So WHAT is the BOTTOM LINE?

If I have money in WSEX and Stars... do I cash it out NOW using a check, or do I wait?

My concern is that I get a check that I can't cash anywhere. What then?

So because Chexx won't process checks from stars we should all panic and leave stars for fear that they will take our money?

give me a break. Stars will come out with new ways to withdraw. And the same is true with WSEX.

When the news came out about neteller arrests, i was pretty quick to get all my money out. However, this is a different situation. Stars and wsex have no intention of leaving the US market. And if they do leave in the future i believe both will return all funds like party and pinnacle.

The problem is some of us may need access to money from stars within the next month or so. I can't wait 6 months for a new payment method to open up.

As long as they still have the same bank account you can cash them. IT doesnt matter who prints the checks. It is the routing number and account number that are important.

I am not worried about PokerStars taking my money, not worried at all. What I am worried about is not being able to get to it for months at a time. I am taking my money out now. It is safe in my US bank account. Whenever a new payment processor is open (or a new check issuer is found) I can either send a money order or do an EFT to get it back. I am getting my checks now, holding my cash and will get back in when the fish can (makes sense, doesn't it?). I kept enough in my Stars account so I can play small games and keep sharp. I'll also start playing live.

This doesn't seem like too bad of a plan, right?
