I'm surprised at the generally negative attitude in this thread. I have heard her on the stern show/roasts and on one of her cds (Take it Like a Man). I think she is really funny.

I appreciate that she is one of the few guests in the history of the stern show that can show up and bully the entire room. If you are a Stern fan you have to admire that.

I also think some people are repulsed because she is unnattractive. I have never seen her on tv or live so maybe I have a more favorable opinion???

she's good and insult humor, and it's better when aimed at celebrities and not random people. ie, "Andy Dick doesn't molest little children... he's too small to hold them down." Most of her humor is based on stereotypes but sometimes she's able to use timing and irony to make it somewhat funny.

I don't care at all how she looks.

I really like Sarah Silverman but wish she would find a better way to segway into the next joke than by ending the previous one with "buuuttt..." or "uuummm..." while she stares off into space. It can be funny if used sparingly, but when used after every joke it gets to be repetitive and annoying. I think sometimes it would be better if she just went on to the next joke without a segway at all.

Not true at the comedy clubs I've visited. If it's funny, you'll get laughs... if not, you will be absolutely hated and treated with silence or insults (not just by the target race). You can't just randomly throw out racist lines.
