if he honestly forgot that he had it... this does not seem like a terrible mistake.

How long is your drive to/from work?

[/ QUOTE ]

20-30 min to get there.

If I leave on time, return trip is ~45 min.

If I leave late it's ~30 min.

Warik, next time he gets up from his desk take his whole computer and put it in a closet. Tell him you were worried it would get stolen so you put it in a safe place for him.

[/ QUOTE ]

I got one better for you.

"I saw your car unattended in the parking lot and didn't want anyone to steal it, so I had the nice man with the tow truck move it to a secure location."

update? did you get it back, did you call him a moran?

[/ QUOTE ]

Got it back the next day. I came in and said "good morning sticky fingers" in a joking, non-offensive tone. He said "hey man, I was just keeping your stuff safe. don't be ungrateful" and gave it back to me. I said I was kidding and thanked him.... no, no... first I thanked him and THEN said I was kidding.

It was set on the same exact playlist as when I last had it in the middle of the same song, i.e. unused. Weird - guess he did really want to keep it safe.
