Wow, if anyone would fight to the end I figured it would be Pinnacle. This is like Wal-Mart saying there's no reason to sell low priced goods to the general public anymore. Amazing.

That's what I was assuming. What complications would there be if a close friend of mine in England were to open a Neteller and Pinny account in his name for me to gamble on in the states?

I do this for party poker and use IP masks to match locations. Zero problems. I would assume the same for pinny. However, I would first worry about the stability of pinny though before I deposited anything there.

They've said that 35-40% of their income is non-American and that they're growing fast in Europe. Although I understand being concerned, 40% of lots of cash is, er, lots of cash and I suspect it would still have them as one of the market leaders.

Pinny's making a business decision. It's their choice, as much as it sucks. I thought since the Demmycratz were in charge of Congress now this wouldn't happen? Thank you Harry Reid!

I would imagine that Bodog and WSEX will always be the last two to leave. Both have publically stated that they are breaking no laws and both are owned by people who seem to want to just poke the USA in the eye anyway.

[/ QUOTE ]

You're right about WSEX for sure, because they have nothing to loose. Jay Cohen has been under indictment since 1995 when Janet Reno went after him and WSEX. If having a federal warrant hanging over his head for 11 years didn't get him to close up shop, I don't see how the threat of another one would.

Since Bodog, not only stated they are staying in the US market but is backing that up by buying US based accounts from other books, I'd say thay are sticking around too.

What really sucks for my company is that last night, after months of work, we finally got our automated arb/middle alert system going and we found lots and lots of arbs/middles with pinny over the last 2 months so we realized there was tons of potential. So,last night I am super excited and then this morning - vomit. How is that timing even remotely possible for me? bleh

We could use our offshore accounts so the ban doesnt hurt in that regard. However, the whole dynamics of pinny is completely changed.

We can switch to other books but pinny's reduced juice was key

I am actually IMing with a developer who is adding features and I dont have the heart to tell him yet.
