Re: Good low limit players. Are there any?
*TT* has it right. I played 4-8 and 5-10 pretty much every day at foxwoods in 2004 and 3-6, 5-10 at the Sun in 2003 and averaged a little over a bet and a half an hour. From my experience, probably 2 bets an hour is possible with almost perfect play on average low limit tables. now if your really game selective and find tables with 6 absolute fish, it may be slightly higher.

Re: Good low limit players. Are there any?
As I posted in another thread, I make close to $100 an hour playing at these limits, if they had the $1-2 mixed game running full time I could quit my job and make $100++ an hour there forever no problem. The key to being good at these limits I think is something you mentioned in your post, never be fearful, becuase many of the other players are too scared to play properly.

Re: Good low limit players. Are there any?
and as was written in another thread, it's impossible to win 10+ bb/hr over the long term.

[/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] Best I could ever do..50 sessions of stud 8. Actually 100 because my friend also was very good and posted the exact same results I did. It was a $0.25-$0.50 games....about 250 hours, with my buddy posting the same. We both won 11bb per hour. No house drop(homes game). Shockingly horrible awful players. If you don't know stud 8, its probably the easiest game to crush bad players because most of the information you need is on the board and trapping multiple players for multiple bets when they cannot beat your hand, even on a draw is insanely profitable. Anywho, thats 11BB w/o a drop. But at a casino...say $1-2, that translates to like 3.5-4 BB and I have never ever encountered a casino game that easy to beat, even in Commerce's LHE heyday. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I used to crush 4/8 kill B&M lhe for like $40/hr for like a year, then I moved up. [/ QUOTE ] Put up or shut up, please post your graph to prove it. And it better be at least 100 hours at a minimum. TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] [/ QUOTE ] Believe what you want, it was over 400 hours in 2005, early 2006 all at casino AZ, roughly $35/hr... There are many people who know this to be true [/ QUOTE ] If you are going to tell a [censored] story at least make it something that is remotely believable. There is simply not enough money even on the table for ANYONE to win at that rate for a sustained period of time. I'll rank your claim right up there along with the guy who once told me that he averaged $70 an hour playing $1/$2 LIMIT on Party Poker. |
