tbh i think checking this turn is bettter than leading it. River however is a lead for me.

I'm not saying they will. I'm saying if his range is good, made hand + draw, he's only betting the made hand and checking behind with draws. Shouldn't we bet, get another call or raise from a made hand as opposed to giving a free card to the draw or check-raising 2 pair off of their hand?

He'll often bet the hands he'll call, but he won't call with draws? So how can that be better than just leading again? If we lead, he calls with good hand and folds draw. If we check, he bets good hand and checks draw.
