Lately I've been drinking a lot of:

Woodchuck Amber Cider
Harpoon IPA
Pete's Wicked Strawberry Blond

I read this and thought, "wtf, what a skirt." Then I noticed who posted it.

[/ QUOTE ]

IPA doesn't seem very girly to me. And Woodchuck is delicious.

Some of you are cheap as hell when listing your pricey beers.

I dig a Lindeman's Framboise Lambic every once in a while.

[/ QUOTE ]

I recently had a Lambic, maybe it was Lindeman's. Interesting beer. Wiki article.

My cheap favorite is definitely PBR.
Bell's two hearted is one of my favorite nicer beers, although it's not what some would consider pricey.

Premium Grainbelt is my favorite cheap beer but I don't think they have it outside of Minnesota. As for cheap [censored] from major companies I would go with the Olde English High Gravity.

Cheap beer: Killian's
Good beer (national): Victory Hop Devil IPA
Good beer (local): Anything Bullfrog Brewery (Willimasport PA) makes, esp IPA; anything Penn Brewing (Pittsburgh PA) makes. Note: BB's IPA is 7.8%ABV, and my experience is they underestimate. Be careful!

I will not, on principle, drink "light" anything, esp as there just isn't enough room in my stomach to drink a "theraputically effective" amount of light beer.

[/ QUOTE ]

A few years ago I was in the same situation as you: Starting to really enjoy the taste of beer but hadn't really experimented too much with the better beers. I started a thread on footballguys and got some great advice:

I'd love to try some of this, but less than 20 states hardly equates to "national" distribution.
