Just a quick question, 2-3 of my friends and I are going to be waiting overnight to buy one unit each on launch day, but I'm just wondering if it's worth picking up the non-premium version if the premium is sold out. And should we buy games / extra controllers with it to make a better bundle on eBay, or just the console alone? Thanks.

Definitly, actually if you have the money, buy all the games that are out on that day. As far as buying the non premium one thats a tuff decision, I'm sure you can get a profit but of course the premium one is going to be the big seller on ebay.

Why would you want to bundle games? There will be no shortage of games. No one is gonna buy games from you for the same price they can buy them from the store. So if you package games in with the console, you'd be expected to give a discount.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but anyone have a link to those website that send you an email as soon as a merchant has a ps3 avaible?

Edit: I forgot to mention that I need this program for Canada.(I'm canadian)

I don't know what site you're talking about but I'd guess that if you need to wait for an email, you won't get one.

How easy/common is it to pay someone to stand in line for you? I was thinking of getting a poor student type to stabd in line for the 15+ (?) hours and then taking their place right beofre opening, and giving them a cut of the profit from the ebay sale.

I guess you can just give your line number card out to anyone you want.(?)

Also this struck my mind today, I'm Canadian and I'm just wondering if there will be any problem shipping to the US (borders???) as that's most likely where the buyer will be from.

Also, what's best between 1-day, 3-days or 7-days listing? I'll most likely make it featured (couple bucks, maybe 10-15.. should be worth it, right?)

I have yet to find a store that opens at midnight here in Quebec City (which will make it harder to get 2 consoles :S )
