Facial Hair?

First tried to grow something at 23. Have a chin only goatee going which came in blonde/red to my dirty blonde hair on my head. Also, since my beard hair is fine and light, it doesn't look good until about a week and a half's growth, the stubble just isn't dense enough to stand on it's own.

Due to this fact growing a mustache is out of the question because I'd have to rock a blonde dirty sanchez for a couple weeks before it would have a chance at looking alright, and then I'm afraid it would just turn into a Wilford Brimley.

Sideburn and rest of the cheeks and neck growth is sporadic at best, so no sideburns.
