goldeneye and perfect dark were insane to play multiplayer. We used to spend all summer just playing that and playing street hockey. Ocarina of time was the best adventure game, I beat it in 2 weeks when I was sick at home. I still remember trying to find the 121st star in mario 64, bastards at nintendo shouldve just told me there wasnt one when i asked instead of hinting there might be, its not like they get paid more the more i play one game i already bought

Totally agree on the SNES Mario Kart being way better. In the SNES version, skill was a huge part of winning the race and the powerups were secondary, however in the N64 version, it become more about which power-ups you got (since there were 3-4x as many on each lap) and less about actual racing ability.

Super Mario World was the best mario IMO. If you wanna go back to nes, Battletoads was pretty bad ass. And no ones said anything about the side scrolling beat 'em up genre. Streets of Rage (had it for genisis dont know if it was on any other console) and for SNES Maximum Carnage was pretty cool.

battletoads is impossible, though. Senior year I made it my mission to beat that game.. I don't think I came close. I gave up pretty easily, but still, it's soooo hard.

My favorite NES game is probably Jackal. And Golf.

I think they were launch titles, but both were awesome:

WaveRace and Blast Corps.

I think in Blast Corps you just go around smashing the hell out of stuff and it's ridiculously fun.

lol. i must have been 7 or 8 when i first/last played it. One of the first console games i ever played... and it felt like a great game at the time.
