Re: Reverse Werewolf
OK.. I'll put it this way...
With Glavine and El Duque, they have a great chance in any series. Maine is the unknown, and is having a breakout year, but he is young and the playoffs can really mess w/ young pitchers. The bullpen can be nasty at time.. but let's look closer. Wagner.. OK.. just nasty, 'nuff said! Mota.. was lights out in 03 and 04, and has some nasty stuff at times. But he has yet to be able to return to his 03/04 self and is right back in line with what his non 2003-2004 career looked like.... 4.5+ ERA and a WHIP ~1.5. Also no playoff exp. for him, but will really have no affect as he is veteran enough for this not to be a problem. Roberto Hernandez... is like 400 years old now , but I still like him as a player and can get the job done and done well even if he is not as dominating as he once was. He is a definite plus for this bully. Heilman and Oliver are pretty decent coming from the bullpen. So the BP is good, but they'll be needed quite a bit if they are going to go far... which they might. But after all is said and done.. this is what you will be seeing.. |
