agree, that play is MAJOR -EV. know that you made a blockhead move by putting 1/3 of your roll on the table, but got away with it.

couldn't agree more.

But wtf people where's the support? He just increased his bankroll by 33% in one fell swoop. If this was BBV he would receive high praise (ok not really since sitting at NL400 with 1/3 of your br when you could sit at NL2k is about the most unballa thing in recent memory but w/e).

It stupid, yeah, but if your willing to drop to 25nl if you (when you) fail then its no biggie. Technically you are playing on a 33 buyin roll if you stop as soon as you lose $400 and start playin strictly $25nl. The problem lies in the fact that this is a very high risk proposition and actually dropping to $25nl after playing for $400 is something no1 wants to do. Be prepared to go busto several times before you smarten up.
