[ QUOTE ]
The masters of scene/song combos were obiously Sergio Leone and Ennio Morricone. The Intro of Once Upon a time in the West, Frank´s Intro, Morton dream with the Ocean, Claudia Cardinale´s arrival, Tuco running with Ecstasy of Gold, the final duel with The trio in the background, well, there are lot. The best combo by far. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: Best movie scene/song combos
Bunch of good ones mentioned so far. I just caught Mystery, Alaska for the 20th time on cable recently, and the Pogues song at the end (Love You 'til The End) really finishes the movie well.
Another memorable movie song scene- the gang in Beautiful Girls singing 'Sweet Caroline'. Who doesn't love Neil Diamond? |

The Big Lebowski scene with Jesus getting a strike to a spanish version of hotel california. Classic.
The Faces at the end of Rushmore is a great choice too, as previously mentioned. |

40 Year old virgin with Age of Aquarius. Absolutely hilarious ending.
Clockwork Orange and Singing in the Rain. Actually changes your view on the song afterwards. That's powerful. |
